One thing that turned me off was the difficulty and the insertion of 16th notes into some songs, I would have liked the usage of multiple stages/pads vs. That being said, I've been considering getting a pad again and making custom charts for more amicable euro dance songs of the mid 90s and other genres that are "DDR-able" as well as make multi-pad songs. This is pre-DLC mind you, someone could probably make a killing if they released something with lots of DLC/content support for the console platforms. you can download the pack from the link below and practice the songs in. Perhaps the lack of songs I found interesting? The songs for DDR are hit or miss. I can't quite put my finger quite on why exactly.
